The General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa, attended the directorate’s celebration to mark Bahraini Women’s Day.
The Director-General hailed the support of the leadership led by His Majesty King Hamad Al Khalifa and the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, HM the King’s wife and President of the Supreme Council for Women that contributed to the empowerment of Bahraini women.
He valued the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in empowering and supporting women in the security sector until they have reached the highest security positions. He noted that the General Directorate has been keen to enhance the presence of Bahraini women within the workforce in appreciation of their role in various fields.
The celebration highlighted the prominent role played by Bahraini women, especially in the security sector, where women have demonstrated exceptional efficiency and effective contribution to enhancing national security and stability.
