In celebration of the national celebrations, the Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter represented the Northern Governor at the University of Technology Bahrain's event.
The ceremony was attended by the Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary General, Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, and the President of the University of Technology Bahrain, as well as several department heads and university students.
The Deputy Northern Governor commended the university's active participation in the national celebrations, emphasising its role in fostering loyalty and patriotism. He extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and prayed for Bahrain's continued security, stability, and progress under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The ceremony featured a speech by the University president, a poem recitation, a live musical performance, and a carnival in the outdoor courtyard with various recreational activities.
