His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa inaugurated the fifth edition of the Entertainment and Marketing event, the first of its kind in the district, featuring 160 participants from various sectors. The event was attended by Deputy Southern Governor Col Hamad Mohammed Abdullah Al Khayyat, the Head of the Southern Municipal Council of Southern, Abdullah Ebrahim Abdullatif, members of the Council of Representatives, senior officers and officials.
On this occasion, HH the Southern Governor highlighted the governorate's commitment to hosting programmes that foster partnerships across sectors and promote investment in local and national projects. He emphasised the importance of such events in showcasing innovative initiatives, supporting entrepreneurs, and promoting products and services.
He commended the organisers for selecting the Southern Governorate as the venue, highlighting its significance in hosting prominent events. He noted that the event provides a valuable platform for local and international entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative products.
The organisers expressed gratitude to HH the Southern Governor for inaugurating the event and acknowledged the governorate's collaboration with private and civil sectors in ensuring its success.
HH the Southern Governor toured the event to mark its launch, which runs until 17 December at the Bahrain International Circuit from 4 PM to midnight, featuring a fireworks display on 16th December.
The event offers family programmes, entertainment, food stalls, games, and cultural performances.
