The Capital Governor, Shaikh Rashin bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, attended a national poetry evening organised by the governorate in collaboration with the Popular Poetry Society to celebrate Bahrain's national holidays. The poetry evening is part of 15 events planned for the celebrations.
The Capital Governor congratulated the leadership, citizens, and residents, emphasising the importance of these national days for fostering a sense of identity and pride. He thanked the Popular Poetry Association for their cooperation.
The Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the evening, Shaikh Khalid bin Isa Al Khalifa, also extended congratulations to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted the association's commitment to celebrating national occasions. The national evening was attended by poet Younis Al Eid and poet Abdullah Al Marri from the Kingdom of Bahrain, poet Hamdan Al Muharrami from the the United Arab Emirates, and poet Majid Al Dihani from Kuwait alongside participation from the Bahraini Ardha Care Society.
