As part of the national campaign to promote integrity and combat corruption, organised by the Ministry of Interior under the slogan “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity,” and coinciding with International Anti-Corruption Day, an awareness exhibition to promote integrity was opened at The Avenues Mall.
Director of Research and Investigation at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic SecurityColonel Ibrahim Al-Rumaihi, stated that the exhibition aims to raise community awareness about the risks and negative impacts of corruption. It also highlights the efforts and tasks of the directorate, in addition to promoting the national integrity hotline ( 992 Integrity). This initiative aligns with the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, which seeks to instil a culture of integrity and encourage society to confront corruption in all its forms, emphasising the importance of community cooperation in combating corruption and the pivotal role of community partnerships in building a society based on integrity and transparency.
The exhibition also provided a platform for direct interaction with the public, offering an opportunity to reinforce the principles of transparency and accountability. Educational materials, such as brochures and pamphlets, were distributed, along with gifts for exhibition visitors.
