The President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs, at the King Fahad Causeway.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of Customs welcomed officials and praised the depth of the historical relations between the two countries. He said that these relations are witnessing continuous development in various fields, which contributes to enhancing joint cooperation and raising it to broader horizons in order to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries.
The meeting included a tour of various sections of the causeway and the official was briefed on travel procedures and efforts to facilitate the traffic of goods.
