The head of the Cyberspace Child Protection Unit of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Major Engineer Fouz Mohammed Ali took part in the discussion workshop "Child Protection Strategies." The workshop was organised by the GCCPOL alongside the International Alliance for Child Protection Conference, hosted by the UAE Ministry of Interior in Abu Dhabi.
During the workshop, the unit's efforts to protect children from the dangers of cyberspace were highlighted, focusing on rapid response to reports received through various channels and the awareness programmes launched by the unit. These initiatives aim to educate about potential risks and promote a culture of reporting among children and their guardians.
The head of the unit also engaged in discussions with GCC child protection authorities, emphasising the importance of unifying efforts and coordinating measures to ensure maximum protection for Gulf children and their families from cyber risks.
