The General Directorate of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, said that the required arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of road users and regulate traffic during national celebrations. He continued that the traffic deployments would be intensified on roads leading to celebration venues in cooperation with concerned directorates of the Interior Ministry.
The Director-General congratulated all citizens and residents on the national celebration and urged them to follow traffic rules and avoid wrong practices that risk their safety. He highlighted that pedestrians should adhere to the designated crossing areas, and drivers should consider not disturbing people in residential areas. He also called on parents to ensure the safety of children in vehicles and cooperate with traffic personnel to promote safety and community partnership.
