Chief of Public Security attends a seminar

The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended a seminar on Bahrain's efforts to protect family stability. The event was organised by the Public Security Presidency for Community Affairs with the participation of the National Institute for Human Rights, the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Education. 
The Chief hailed His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa's support for initiatives that promote family and community values for a secure and stable family environment. He said that the Interior Ministry adopts initiatives to promote and protect family stability, including the generalisation of family and children protection offices among police directorates in the four governorates. 
The Chief affirmed that the Bahraini family is the source of community values and national cohesion. Therefore, it should be protected from negative social and cultural changes. He said that the new generation faces unprecedented challenges through social media, so joint efforts are required to tackle this issue.  
The Chief highlighted the importance of promoting community awareness and noted the significance of partnerships between government, private organisations, and civil societies to address challenges that affect Bahraini families. 
The Chief thanked the participants and organisers and directed them to implement the seminar's recommendations to protect family stability. 
The Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Brigadier Ammar Al Sayed, highlighted the event's importance in protecting security, as families are the core of society. He hailed the role of the community police in supporting and protecting families. 
The seminar highlighted the role and services provided by the community police to promote family stability. 
After that seminar, the Chief toured an exhibition held on the sidelines of the event, which showcased the success stories.
