The Customs Affairs and CrimsonLogic Company signed memorandums for the pilot launch of the Customs Single Window (OFOQ2) system after passing phases of the national project as part of efforts to promote customs services and information security.
The Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted that the OFOQ2 is an integrated system that aims to facilitate commercial and customs operations. It is an innovative platform to unify commercial and logistic services to enhance the competency of operations and facilitate procedures between concerned entities in a secure environment. The system is considered a pioneering solution to promote transparency and speed up the processing of the applications to enhance the business environment and international trade.
