His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa chaired the first security committee meeting for the year 2025, which was attended by the Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Hamad Al Khayat and several officials.
HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, hailing the efforts and coordination between all the Interior Ministry’s directorates and the Southern Governorate to promote security and partnership per the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, HH the Southern Governor reviewed the Security Committee’s report and the security efforts to enhance the security role in the governorate. He praised the readiness and level of security preparedness, the speed of response in receiving the reports, and the efforts, and joint cooperation achieved during the past year with various security agencies.
His Highness the Southern Governor also briefed the Chairman of the Security Committee on the most prominent goals to be achieved at the beginning of the current year through plans, programs and security campaigns in a way that meets the needs and aspirations of the people in an exemplary manner to enhance community partnership.
He commanded the security directorates for their efforts to ensure the safety of the camping season, highlighting their success in maintaining security and raising awareness among campers and desert-goers. He acknowledged the strong cooperation between the Southern Governorate and various security agencies.
HH the Southern Governor stressed the importance of enhancing community awareness and intensifying security campaigns to ensure high standards of safety and security for desert-goers.
