The Head of the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre, Lt-Col. Hisham Ibrahim Jassim participated in the international conference of the American Correctional Association (ACA) in the United States. Representatives from various reform and correction organisations attended the event.
The conference discussed several topics related to developing work and ways to exchange experiences and training programmes within correctional institutions in line with international standards, in addition to participating in several workshops and various courses that addressed contemporary methodologies and best practices for reforming correctional and rehabilitation centres to enhance the concept of modern approaches to rehabilitating inmates, reviewing healthcare efforts, and training employees on managing situations and emergencies.
