The Director-General of Media and Security Culture, Major-General Mohammed bin Mohammed Bin Daina, honoured the participants of a specialised training course on the basics of image and television photography. Organised by the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture in cooperation with the Training Directorate, the course aimed to enhance the skills of the media workforce to enhance performance and the work systems.
The Director-General toured an exhibition held on the sidelines of the course showcasing the participants' creative works. He hailed the participants’ advanced competency and efforts in organising the event.
The training was presented by the TV Director and Director of Photography at the Information Minister, Mohammed Naziah and specialists at the TV and Photography Division of the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture. It highlighted the important basics of professional photography, lighting skills, and how to deal with different cameras, in addition to learning about the parts of the camera and its functions, as well as photography methods in all circumstances.
At the end of the course, the participants gave presentations highlighting skills gains and how they benefited from the training.
