The Royal Academy of Police (RAP) has held an orientation day for 53 postgraduate students enrolled in security management and general law master's degree. Officials from administration and faculty teams attended.
RAP Commander, Major-General Fawaz Al Hassan, expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, for his instructions to develop academic services in line with scientific and technological progress and his keenness to provide the opportunity for members of the public sector, in addition to members of the Ministry of Interior, to benefit from RAP postgraduate programmes.
He stressed that this event comes within the RAP framework to provide an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with global developments in various fields and its keenness to prepare new students to engage in the academic programmes prepared for them successfully.
He explained that updating the postgraduate programmes comes within the framework of the Academy’s commitment to international quality standards and linking education with modern technology in a way that enhances integration with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. He stressed that the programmes aim to raise students' scientific and professional efficiency and prepare specialised leaders in the security and legal fields. He called on students to present their ideas and proposals through the Academy’s platform for consideration and wished them success.
The event included presentations on the academic programmes, their objectives, curricula, and evaluation mechanisms. It also reviewed the systems and regulations that govern academic life and comprehensively explained the resources available to students to support their academic careers.
The students expressed their happiness about joining the academy and their aspirations to make the most of the academic programmes and advanced facilities.
