The President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, chaired Bahrain’s delegation in the 12th meeting of the Executive Council of the Customs Union Authority in Riyadh. The delegation was briefed on the council's decisions to finalise the requirements of the formation of the union and the authority 2025 budget. The meeting reviewed the latest developments of the technical committees and the future workflow of the union. At the end of the meeting, the authority issued some recommendations to complete projects to form the union and revise customs procedures.
