As part of efforts to improve communication between the governorate and the public, His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received a number of dignitaries, community leaders, and representatives from the civil society organisations at the Governorate Majlis. The meeting was attended by Deputy Southern Governor Colonel Hamad Mohammed Abdullah Al Khayyat, Head of the Southern Municipal Council, Abdullah Ibrahim Abdullatif along with various officers and officials from the Southern Governorate.
HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of strengthening communication with the public and addressing their development needs. He praised the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, emphasising the value of connecting with the citizens to align with aspirations in security, service, and social sectors.
He then highlighted that the Southern Governorate remains committed to strengthening communication with the residents through frequent field visits and active engagement with proposals via electronic channels and smart platforms. This effort is part of the ongoing drive to deliver enhanced services and meet the aspirations of the residents.
He emphasised that the governorate is actively liaising with government agencies to address residents' needs, ensuring the advancement of key development and service projects. This effort aims to enhance service quality, reflecting the sustainable progress across all areas of the Governorate.
He then considered several observations and proposals from the residents, assuring them of his constant follow-up and coordination with relevant agencies to ensure overall development across the Governorate.
The attendees expressed their gratitude for HH the Southern Governor’s steadfast involvement and his commitment to addressing their needs and aspirations.
