The General Supervisor of the Bahrain Ministry of Interior ATP Challenge, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, chaired a coordinating meeting of the competition organising committee. The meeting will be held from 9 to 15 February 2025 at the Public Security Officers Club. The Public Security Sports Association organises the game in cooperation with the club.
During the meeting, the proposals and opinions of the heads of the committees for the success of hosting this international event was reviewed, which is organised annually by the Ministry of Interior and enjoys the interest and participation of many international tennis players. The progress of work in the plan set for hosting the tournament was also reviewed. The readiness and preparedness of all the working committees, including the Media Committee, the Administrative Committee, the Medical Committee, and the Courts Committee, were discussed. They were assigned special tasks before and during the tournament.
The meeting affirmed the readiness of all the tournament courts, which are considered among the best tennis courts and meet all standards of the International Tennis Federation, offering all facilities to host the players and approving the timetable of the tournament’s activities for the technical and public success of the event.
