Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor reviewed the Productive Families and Entrepreneurship Programme, organised by the Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in collaboration with the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), in the presence of Director of the Information and Follow-up Directorate Amal Isa Dawood Bujandal, President of UTB, Dr. Hasan Almulla and Chairman of the Social Responsibility Society, Khalid Al Qaoud.
During the visit, the Northern Governor reviewed several projects within the programme, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of Bahraini productive families. He expressed confidence in their success in developing local products and excelling in the market. Additionally, he proposed a practical initiative for all participating families to collaborate in a workshop, transforming their ideas into implementable projects, while encouraging others to learn from the past success stories.
The President of UTB, confirmed the university’s role in the programme, providing participants with skills in business planning, digital marketing, and workshops to boost their competitiveness in the local market.
The Chairman of the Social Responsibility Society noted that this is the fourth edition of the programme, designed to empower productive families as entrepreneurs, with projects to be showcased at the graduation ceremony.
