The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received a delegation from Tor Vergata University of Rome in Italy in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The Chief welcomed the delegation and hailed training and academic cooperation between the university and the Royal Academy of Police to enhance security and specialised capabilities, per the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance the skills of the workforce and security performance using the latest modern methods.
The meeting coincided with a workshop on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) materials at the academy, which will be held from February 11 to 13.
