The Coast Guard patrols have seized some boats in the protected areas east of Hawar Island and the Fasht Al Adhm due to their use of prohibited fish traps while fishing. The Coast Guard highlighted that campaigns would continue to inspect violations. It called upon seafarers and fishermen to follow the fishing rules and regulations to protect marine life.
