The Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Major-General Abdulsalam Al Oraifi honoured some inmates for participating in life skills training that was organised in cooperation with Government Hospitals in the presence of Dr Maiyam Al Jalahma, the CEO of Government Hospitals.
During the ceremony, the Director-General stressed the importance of these programmes in rehabilitating and enhancing the life skills of inmates, which contributes to developing their capabilities and preparing them for positive integration into society after their release.
At the end of the event, the Director-General presented a souvenir to Dr Al Jalahma, which was one of the distinguished handicrafts made by inmates, in appreciation of the role of government hospitals in supporting rehabilitation and training programmes within correctional institutions.
