The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the activities of the Public Security Sports Association to mark Bahrain Sports Day in cooperation with the Special Security Force and the participation of the Interior Ministry personnel.
The Chief thanked and appreciated His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his directives to allow employees to participate in Bahrain Sports Day’s activities. He said that this initiative reflects the interest of wise leadership in reinforcing sports as a lifestyle to promote health and performance.
He praised His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa's support for spreading a sports culture among employees to promote their physical fitness, competency, and readiness.
The Chief was briefed about the event’s various sports activities and praised the participants' skills in multiple competitions.
At the end of the activities, the Chief honoured athletes and administrators who had completed 25 years in the sports sector for men and 15 years for women. He also honoured sports accomplishers in 2024 and 2025, including those who were top in physical fitness tests and won Bahrain Sports Day competitions.
