As part of the commitment and support of His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Southern governorate is organising a series of initiatives and programmes to celebrate Ramadan. These initiatives aim to highlight and promote charitable and community values of generosity, reinforce social concepts, and foster communication, participation, and solidarity among residents and citizens.
The Southern Governorate has launched the Majalis Electronic Guide on its official website, enhancing digital communication and providing information on Majalis hosts across the governorate during the holy month.
The Southern Governorate launched the "Majlat Al-Khair 8" initiative to promote Islamic values of fraternity and cooperation. With support from volunteers, employees, and the private sector, over 1,000 Ramadan baskets were distributed to communities across the governorate, strengthening social bonds and partnerships.
The Southern Governorate will also host a heritage celebration for Gergaoon Night as part of its ongoing efforts to promote cultural heritage and create a joyful atmosphere for children and families.
