His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa lauded the Ministry of Interior’s preparations for the holy month of Ramadan. He highlighted the security measures, including patrols at mosques, prayer sites, Iftar distribution sites, markets, and shopping centres, that ensure safety during the holy month’s religious observances.
He highlighted that while presiding over the governorate’s security committee meeting, which was attended by Deputy Capital Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani and officers from the Ministry’s security directorates, the discussion reviewed security measures during Ramadan, emphasising the need for coordinated efforts to ensure public safety and security throughout the holy month.
The members also deliberated on the logistics of Iftar meal distribution, reviewed the Capital Governorate’s Ramadan programmes and activities, and addressed key security concerns.
