The Director-General of Guards, Major-General Salman Mohammed Al Zayed, visited the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). The CBB Governor, Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, received him.
During the visit, the workflow mechanism in the Operations Division (Banking Control Room) was reviewed. This mechanism plays a pivotal role in enhancing rapid response to reports received by the Operations Room of the General Directorate of Guards, which contributes to raising the level of security and safety in the banking sector.
Major Mohammed Hamad Al Nashmi, head of the Operations Division, also presented the most prominent reports received by the Banking Control Room, highlighting the mechanisms for dealing quickly with them to ensure an effective response and maintain the security of banking facilities linked to the Operations Room of the General Department of Guards.
This visit comes within the framework of the General Directorate of Guards’ keenness to enhance partnership and coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the security and protection of vital institutions, especially the banking sector, which represents one of the main assets of the national economy.
