The Ministry of Interior's shooting team achieved advanced positions during its participation in the 43rd annual Police Shooting Championship, which was organised by the Police Sports Association in the United Arab Emirates from February 17 to 27.
The men's tactical shooting team won second place and a silver medal, while the women's team obtained third place and a bronze medal in the speed challenge competition.
The Public Security Sports Association President, Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayat, expressed his profound thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Interior for the generous support and care that the athletes of the Ministry's members receive. He noted the continuous follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, which contributed to achieving high-level sporting achievements in local and international sports championships and competitions.
