The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Sceince has referred a 47-year-old Bahraini to the Public Prosecution for murdering a 57-year-old citizen in the Shakhura area using a sharp weapon.
The directorate explained that upon receiving a report of the incident, the relevant security teams immediately moved to the scene, where they examined the crime scene, collected physical evidence, and initiated search and investigation operations. These efforts led to the identification and arrest of the murderer, along with the seizure of the murder weapon.
Investigations revealed that there were longstanding personal disputes between the two individuals. As a result, the suspect carried out the crime by stabbing the victim multiple times after the latter had left his home early in the morning.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science confirmed that all necessary legal steps have been taken, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
