The Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Al Kubaisi asserted that the annual Ramadan safety awareness campaign launched by the General Directorate of Civil Defence is part of efforts to promote general safety. He said that gatherings increase during Ramadan at Majalis and Ramadan tents, so people at such places should be aware of safety rules for a safe environment and protection of lives and property.
He said that civil defence teams conduct field visits to commercial malls, Ramadan tents, and Majlis to inform visitors of the best safety instructions and distribute awareness publications.
