The National Civil Emergency Management Committee delegation visited the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) headquarters in Vienna. The delegation met Robert Floyd, the CTBTO executive secretary.
During the visit, the link between the National Civil Emergency Management Centre and the CTBTO was discussed to exchange information based on the organisation's role in enhancing civil protection and continuing international efforts to consolidate security, safety, and stability for all countries.
The Committee Executive Office Head said that the visit was part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister, the Chairman of the Civil Defence Council, and a follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, the Chairman of the Committee. It was part of efforts to enhance national emergency response capabilities.
