The Executive Office of the National Civil Emergency Management Committee participated in the celebration of Arab Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. The event, which was organised by the General Secretariat of the Arab League via videoconferencing, was part of joint Arab efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination in disaster risk reduction and build resilient Arab communities capable of adapting to various challenges.
The Executive Office of the National Civil Emergency Management Committee's participation aligns with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to strengthen national emergency response capabilities and benefit from the experiences and expertise of participating countries. The event included a presentation on the National Civil Protection Platform, which has been officially recognised at the Arab level as a reference for the Arab platform and as one of the best practices in this field. Additionally, participants reviewed projects and initiatives from various Arab countries in disaster risk reduction.
