Coinciding with the Kingdom’s celebrations of Bahraini Youth Day, the Cyberspace Child Protection Unit at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, in collaboration with the University of Bahrain, organised the student forum titled "Bahraini Youth in the Digital World: Opportunities and Challenges."
The forum, attended by a number of university students, featured discussion sessions centred on a case study designed by the unit for training purposes. During these sessions, students engaged in discussions on the opportunities and challenges of the digital world, particularly the impact of social media on shaping opinions and orientations. They also explored ways to leverage modern technology in developing digital protection applications and the available opportunities to raise awareness of the risks associated with cyberspace on society.
