Retired Major-General Hassan Al Hassan passed away quietly, leaving behind a rich legacy in the service of the nation. He was a distinctive security figure and a model of dedication whose legacy endures, rooted in discipline, patriotism, and a devotion to duty. He was not merely a security leader but a man who left behind a family that Bahrain takes pride in—a family whose service to the nation affirms that serving the homeland is a continuous chain across generations.

Retired Major-General Hassan Isa Al Hassan was a symbol of unmatched value in security performance, national loyalty, and professional dedication. He passed away after a journey marked by a deep commitment, duty, and the love of the people. Throughout his life, he firmly believed that serving the nation is an unparalleled honour, and he remained faithful to this belief until his passing, leaving behind a legacy of satisfaction, tolerance, and sincerity.

During his service at the Ministry of the Interior, he held various positions that served as testimony to his seriousness and devotion to duty. The late officer had a long journey of giving and sacrifice in the service of the homeland that spanned decades. He joined the Bahrain Police on 1 October 1955 after graduating from the Police Training School with the rank of Assistant Second Inspector, thus beginning a professional journey marked by competence and discipline. He held several leadership positions, including supervising the Mobile Force Division at the Police Fort, serving as Assistant Commander at Safra Camp, overseeing Al-Hidd Police Station and Bahrain Airport Police, and then serving as an officer in the Special Force, Commander of the Northern Villages Divisions, and the Villages Police Division. He later held the positions of Commander of the Station and Training Division, Director of Training and Operations, and ultimately, Director-General of the General Directorate of Security Zones — a post he held until his retirement on 1 February 2002.

Throughout his years of service, he enrolled in numerous security and administrative courses both in Bahrain and abroad and participated in many security-related conferences and seminars. Thanks to his dedication and contributions, he rose through the police ranks, attaining the rank of Major-General on 1 December 2001. Over the course of his career, he was also awarded several medals in recognition of his efforts.
