The Director-General of Traffic Major-General Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the outstanding success achieved by Bahrain in organising and hosting the 2025 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race.
The Director General affirmed that this achievement reflects the continuous support of the wise leadership and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national capabilities and expertise, which enable it to host major global events. He also expressed his gratitude to the public. He praised their cooperation with the instructions issued by the General Directorate of Traffic, which contributed to the successful implementation of the traffic plan and the overall excellence of the event, which was in line with the highest international standards.
