The Deputy Interior Minister, Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and the McLaren team's victory in this international race.
He pointed out that the significant success of this global sports event reinforces the prestigious status of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the international sports map because of the vision of HM the King to make the Kingdom a pioneering centre for attracting prominent international sports events to promote its tourism image due to its security, safety and stability.
The Deputy Interior Minister valued the endless support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in offering all capabilities to ensure the success of this sports event to the highest quality standards, and by the Bahraini team members.
He affirmed that the success represents the integration of national efforts, reflects Bahrain's bright image in hosting major events, and promotes its status as a preferred regional and international destination.
