As part of the Gulf Traffic Week 2025, the General Directorate of Traffic has honoured ideal Bahraini drivers, with no traffic offences or accidents. The initiative aimed to promote community partnership in limiting traffic accidents.
The Deputy Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Mohammed Al Daraj, hailed the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the Director-General of Traffic to enhance traffic safety and awareness. He pointed out cooperation between the government and private organisations and individuals in implementing the General Directorate’s fatal accident-reduction plans.
Meanwhile, the Director of Traffic Culture asserted that the annual initiative aims to honour law-abiding drivers as role models for safe driving and to avoid wrong traffic practices.
