The General Directorate of Traffic, in cooperation with the University of Bahrain, has held a traffic awareness event as part of the activities to mark the Gulf Traffic Week. The Deputy Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Mohammed Daraj, President of the University of Bahrain, Dr Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, officers and academics attended the event. The event emphasised the significance of the community partnership in supporting national efforts to limit traffic accidents and the activation of educational institutions to promote a traffic rules-adhering culture.
The Director-General continues to hold a series of activities to mark the week, including a traffic village at Marassi Galleria Mall.
