The Executive Office of the National Civil Emergency Management Committee has held a series of lectures and workshops on the National Civil Protection Platform for secondary school students, in cooperation with LIFE PULSE TEAM..
This awareness programme is part of the Executive Office's efforts to highlight the platform's role and engage the community in a comprehensive protection system, achieving sustainable development goals in community safety.
The lectures aim to spread a culture of safety, emergency response, and first aid, and enhance students' capabilities in dealing with emergencies.
More than 2,500 students have benefited from training in basic first aid skills, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), dealing with loss of consciousness, and other skills that contribute to saving lives in critical situations.
