Sultan Al-Rumaihi, rider for the Ministry of Interior’s Show Jumping Team and representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain, secured first place at the Al Shaqab International Championship, a qualifier for the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Group 7 Final. The competition, held in Qatar from 23 to 26 April, featured 271 riders from 22 countries.
On this occasion, the team's Supervisor Major-General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al-Rumaihi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the unwavering support extended to the Interior Ministry’s athletes. He noted that this backing has significantly contributed to achieving outstanding results in both local and international sports tournaments.
He also praised the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, for his continuous follow-up on all sporting activities involving ministry personnel. Furthermore, he commended the exceptional performance displayed by the rider, reflecting the high level of preparation and readiness that was instrumental in achieving this accomplishment and raising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s profile at the championship.
