The Permanent Committee for Tennis of the Ministry of Interior held its coordination meeting, led by Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, at the Public Security Officers Club.
The meeting discussed several topics, including initiatives and proposals to develop tennis within the Ministry of Interior’s sports system. These efforts seek to enhance the athletic performance of Ministry of Interior personnel and support the objectives of the Public Security Sports Association in advancing the Ministry's sporting goals.
The committee also reviewed key challenges and explored ways to improve participation in local and international events through developmental and training programmes based on best practices. These discussions reflect the Ministry’s ongoing commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to promoting sports activities and strengthening physical fitness.
During the meeting, the Committee Chairman emphasised the importance of implementing the approved plans and working in a spirit of teamwork to achieve the outlined goals. He also praised the cooperation and ongoing efforts of committee members to advance the status of tennis within the Ministry of Interior.
