The Ministry of Interior has conducted a joint tabletop exercise with the United States Maritime Activity Support Unit as part of efforts to enhance bilateral security cooperation and coordination and exchange expertise in emergency response fields.
On this occasion, the Director of the Joint Counterterrorism Centre, Major Rashid Zuhair Al-Absi, explained that the exercise aims to establish joint response plans, unify operational concepts, and elevate security readiness and coordination between both sides.
He expressed his gratitude to the Commander of the U.S. Maritime Activity Support Unit for his active contribution to the exercise's success.
Personnel from various directorates of the Ministry of Interior participated in the exercise, reflecting a spirit of teamwork and a commitment to knowledge and experience exchange to strengthen security and emergency preparedness.
