As part of efforts to support initiatives and in line with the objectives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Value of Citizenship (Bahrainouna), the Community Affairs Directorate at the Public Security Presidency, in cooperation with Wahaj Association —an organisation registered under the Ministry of Youth Affairs—organised a discussion session entitled “The Bahraini Dialect.”
This session is part of ongoing efforts by the Community Affairs Directorate to promote national culture and preserve the cultural heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain by supporting projects that aim to document the Bahraini dialect, considering it an integral part of the national identity and a key cultural component of society.
Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs Brigadier Dr. Ammar Mustafa Al-Sayed emphasised the continued support for such qualitative initiatives that contribute to raising public awareness in Bahraini society amidst rapid social changes. He stressed the importance of reinforcing national values, which enhances Bahrain’s standing as a unique cultural model.
