The Deputy Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, Brigadier Raed Ali Al-Mailei, participated in the 41st GCC meeting of Directors-General of Criminal Investigation authorities in Riyadh.
At the outset of his remarks, the Director-General conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to the participants.
He affirmed that the meeting reflects the GCC countries' commitment to unifying visions and strengthening collaboration to confront various types of crimes, particularly in light of the rise of organised and transnational crimes and the technological developments that have introduced new security threats.
He also emphasised the importance of continuing to exchange expertise and best practices in criminal investigations to enhance performance and boost the efficiency of security agencies. The meeting discussed several key security topics.
