The Office of the Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the National Bureau for Revenue, held an awareness workshop titled "Fundamentals of VAT Implementation for Directorates Handling Procurement and Payment Procedures."
Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Deputy Chief Executive for Tax Operations and Compliance at the National Bureau for Revenue, Noor Hafedh Buali, attended.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the types of Value Added Tax (VAT) and its practical application across various projects and daily operations. Participants were also briefed on the types of goods and services handled by the Ministry of Interior from a VAT perspective, to achieve the highest levels of tax compliance.
