The Muharraq Governor Salman Bin Hindi Al Mannai conveyed profound gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, during the inauguration of the Muharraq Specialised Health Care Centre. He lauded the pivotal role of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) in bolstering the project and commended its distinguished contributions to Bahrain’s developmental initiatives.
This followed the Muharraq Governorate Majlis meeting, attended by Deputy Muharraq Governor Brigadier General Jassim Mohammed Al Ghattam, Muharraq Governorate Police Director General Brigadier Sultan Ahmed Juma Al Kaabi, and various officials and residents. The attendees extended appreciation to the Ministry of Works for delivering the Muharraq Specialised Health Care Centre project and commended government hospitals for their exemplary healthcare services.
The Muharraq Governor revealed a plan to host a landmark exhibition showcasing rare photographs and historical documents, many displayed for the first time, in collaboration with residents. The initiative will include special publications to preserve these artefacts while safeguarding owners' rights, alongside public exhibitions in partnership with various institutions.
During the meeting, the attendees highlighted the need for summer programmes to engage the students, stressing the value of productive leisure time during the academic break.
At the end of the meeting, the Muharraq Governorate Police Director-General, underscored the vital role of public-security collaboration in upholding the governorate's safety and stability. He reaffirmed the directorate's commitment to all communication channels, welcoming feedback and complaints to ensure swift and effective resolutions.
