The Criminal Investigation Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested a 46-year-old African national for involvement in fraud and counterfeiting foreign currency through social media platforms.
An investigation into the received cases identified the suspect, who was apprehended. In his possession were materials used for counterfeiting, including forgery powders, counterfeit documents, and foreign and Bahraini currency.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science confirmed that all seized items were seized, and the necessary legal procedures were followed in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
