As part of its ongoing efforts to establish a safe and healthy work environment, the Community Affairs division of the Public Security Presidency has been awarded the Gold-level accreditation in the "Health-Promoting Workplaces" programme by the Ministry of Health. The accreditation, valid for three years, reflects the institutional commitment to advancing occupational health and safety standards.
On this occasion, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Brigadier Dr Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, affirmed that the achievement is the result of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan.
He noted that this recognition reinforces the Interior Ministry’s vision of creating a sustainable and health-conscious workplace for all its personnel.
He also stressed that earning the Gold-level accreditation strengthens the institutional standing of the Community Affairs division and motivates the continued development of initiatives aimed at embedding a culture of health in the workplace, in line with national standards and international best practices.
He expressed his appreciation to all team members whose outstanding efforts contributed to this achievement. He affirmed that the division will continue to implement quality programmes that promote healthy lifestyles among employees, reflecting the core values of Community Affairs at the Public Security Presidency.
