The Muharraq Governorate organised a cleanup campaign along the Diving Coast and Corniche in collaboration with the Muharraq Municipality and the Karnataka Cultural Foundation. The initiative supports the goal of making Muharraq a "Healthy Governorate" and encourages community involvement.
The Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa Bin Hindi Al Mannai emphasised that the campaign is one of several aimed at raising awareness about protecting public spaces, commending the volunteers' dedication. He affirmed the Governorate’s commitment to launching similar initiatives that promote volunteerism and partnerships.
Volunteers cleaned the coastline, sorted waste, and handed it over for proper disposal. The Governorate expressed its appreciation to all participants and reaffirmed its dedication to environmental sustainability.
