The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa (DSAME), Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, and his accompanying delegation. The Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, attended.
The Chief affirmed that the security ties between the two friendly countries are a successful strategic partnership model based on mutual trust and ongoing coordination. He pointed out the significance of cooperation in confronting various regional security challenges.
The meeting reviewed cooperation between the two sides and topics of common interest that could promote counterterrorism coordination and tackle modern security threats.
