The Capital Governorate Police Directorate conducted a joint inspection campaign in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the Capital Municipality, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The initiative aimed to combat irregular employment and ensure that commercial establishments comply with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of several individuals in violation of residency and labour regulations, as well as the identification of a number of commercial establishments that failed to meet licensing and regulatory standards. Legal actions were taken against the violators.
The Capital Governorate Police Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such inspection campaigns in cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with residency and labour laws.
