His Excellency, the Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence (NPRA), received Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of residency affairs and the organisation of the Bangladeshi community’s status in the Kingdom, in a manner that serves common interests.
His Excellency affirmed the keenness of the (NPRA) to strengthen aspects of cooperation and coordination with accredited embassies in Bahrain, contributing to the facilitation of procedures and improvement of service quality, in line with its commitment to supporting expatriates in the Kingdom.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked His Excellency Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa for the hospitality and reception. He praised the efforts of the Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs in providing facilitations for the Bangladeshi community and affirmed his country’s aspiration to further enhance frameworks of cooperation in a way that serves the close relations between the two friendly countries.
